One of the things I loved most about this engagement session was how present Mary Margaret and Owen were with each other. It can be easy to get caught up in the details of a photo session—wondering how you look, if you’re standing the right way, or if your smile feels natural—but these two simply let themselves be.

Then, I saw Lane and Alyssa approaching. Lane took her hand and led her to white roses waiting for them on the beach. He knelt down, looking up at her with hope in his eyes, and asked, “Will you marry me?” In a heartbeat, Alyssa said yes! It was a moment filled with pure joy and love!
